Great People

I will never be great. I just do not have that in me. The furthest I can aspire is to be good and kind. Fortunately, I suffer from a general lack of much ambition so I'm perfectly happy with myself. However, I know a lot of great people, or rather, people who will one day be great.

Among my friends are future Ministers, Perm Secs, Ambassadors, JLCs, Surgeons, Teachers, Scientists, Researchers, Economists so on and so forth. One of them at very least is bound to become great. That one is the favourite among all my friends, whoever he or she may be.

And now, I add to my list Vanathi Lake/River/Stream/Whatever-it-is-you're-changing-your-name-to, finalist in this year's Advocacy Cup. Vans, the love, was always good at the litigation/off-the-cuff speaking thing. Well done girl!! I'm proud of you!
